ALL prescriptions are now electronic and therefore go immediately to your nominated pharmacist.

ACUTE or URGENT – requests for urgent prescriptions will be ready to be collected at the pharmacy within 48 hours or same day, please telephone on 01254 961562 asap. Please note that the doctor may not prescribe your request.

REPEAT PRESCRIPTIONS

ROUTINE— ordered by ringing 01254 961562 and select option 1 for our prescription Hub. Please note that a FULL 48 hours are required to prepare repeat prescriptions for signature.  Receptionist will not be able to accept your telephone request. PLEASE select option 1.

ORDER ONLINE

Ordering online via GP App / NHS App / Patient Access is a quick, convenient and easy access.

Patient Access is a service provided by EMIS (our clinical system) that allows you to access your practice online.

To Register:   You should note, however, that not all repeat prescription items will be able to be ordered in this way.
Register in three easy steps

Step 1:
Bring two forms of identity one of which MUST be photographic identity. You must apply in person, third party requests will be refused.

Ask at reception for a personal registration letter. This provides all the information you need to register to use the EMIS Access facilities.

Step 2:
Return to this website and navigate to Online Services on the quick links or click here. This is an external link to Emis Access, then follow the instructions on their web site to create your account.

Important (You must create an account before you can log in)

Step 3:
Enter your personal registration details exactly as they appear on the registration letter. If the information does not match, your registration will not be accepted.

You are now ready to get started

NHS App and your NHS Account – Download the NHS App, or open the NHS website in a web browser, to set up and log in to your NHS account. Owned and run by the NHS, your NHS account is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services online.

SYNCHRONISATION

Have all your medicines to run out at the same time. This means only one visit the practice each month. Ask about this with Prescription Hub order.

REPEAT DISPENSING

If you are taking up to three items of repeat medication, you may be able to register for repeat dispensing. This allows you to collect up to six months of repeat prescriptions at one time. Please ask at reception.

MEDICATION REVIEW

Involves a complete check of all your medication to ensure it is up to date and relevant to your current medical condition.
